Fashion United!!

A plethora of designers, singers, actors have teamed up with the Japan editions of Vogue and GQ, uniting their force, more precisely their talent in that case, for a charity T-shirt project with goal to bring aid to the survivors of the earthquake. Each personality has designed a tee with messages of support for the Japanese people.

“The Fashion Units for Japan” T-shirts will go on sale globally on June 25 through Uniqlo, for £12.99 the piece. This solidarity initiative is expected to raise around 100 million yen, which will be donated via the Japanese Red Cross Society to aid restoring the region following this natural disaster.

I love how, once more, the fashion world is dedicated to aid the ones in need… As a matter of fact, haven’t we’ve been seeing in many occasions, actors of the fashion world being dedicated to humanitarian causes? Also, don’t we say that a small detail can change a life, even lives… Then, these T-shirts can be that detail…
