Ciao Milano, bonjour Paris!!! We are now at our final destination regarding the A/W 2011-2012 Fashion Weeks. The shows in Paris have been going on since the 1st of March with names such as Carven, Dries Van Noten, Rochas and Mugler presenting their collection.
Apart from the great fashion we have been seeing, yesterday night, a very particular show has created The Buzz…. And who better than Lady Gaga to do that!!!? As a matter of fact, the extravagant singer hit the catwalk as part of Thierry Mugler’s show, marching amongst the models, while interpreting her new single “Government Hooker”, dressed in a black glossy and transparent dress. Later one, she came back on the runway in a white outfit carrying a “China girl” spirit and singing her single “Born This Way”.
I love how boundaries are often crossed between fashion, artistic performances, music, as by mixing these genres, are produced unique experiences which make us look with a different eye at each of the elements brought together. Also, I think that Mugler was a perfect fit for Gaga, as the collection carried a very edgy and provocative spirit matching perfectly with the singer’s personality or more precisely, with the singer’s personage!!
