One important place to spot trends is the red carpet and lucky us, we do have a lot of these kind of events going on to keep us on track of what to wear.... Well it seems that, judging by what has been seen on the BAFTA's 2012 red carpet, should you have a party to attend, you won't go wrong by choosing a metallic dress... Gold and silver are the name of the game...
Here are a few examples... Note that my ultimate favorite is Jessica Chastain's Oscar De La Renta dress from Pre-Fall 2012. Love the pleated aspect as well as the "Greek-goddess" feel of it. I must say that the actress wears it perfectly adding to it her natural elegance and class. Also, as always, she is keeping it very simple as for the make-up and hair-do leaving the dress at the center of attention!
