Fashion possesses a timeline of its own, propelling its followers one or two seasons ahead during the Fashion Weeks.
As a matter of fact, while we are just getting used to the trends of this winter, in New York, designers are already showing us what next fall will be looking like fashion wise.
Don’t you find that time goes already to fast as it is?? Couldn’t we state that by thinking always two steps further makes time go even faster?
Don’t get me wrong, I love looking at the shows to get a glimpse on how we will be dressing next year at the same period, but, in a way, I feel that thinking about that now takes away some of the pleasure of the moment. By this I mean that, if we are already fantasizing on new clothes or trends, the ones we are wearing now could in consequence already seem out!!
Life, according to me, should be all about enjoying the present and seizing each moment as time already goes to fast!! So, by propelling us one year further constantly could alter that way of thinking. Okay, fashion isn’t everything, but still it symptomizes a state of mind.
