Act Like A Lady.....

…… could be H&M’s new collection’s mantra… As a matter of fact, this A/W 2011, the fluid trouser and the equestrian legging will be the new jeans, as elegant and ladylike silhouettes will be preferred to the grunge and rock ones we were used too in the past seasons.

H&M’s A/W 2011 collection goes beyond the return of the 50’s seen last year as it completely embodies the trend, proposing retro looks which carry a sense of modernity. As a matter of fact, oversized coats and sweaters opposed to mini skirts and dresses, worn above thick leggings or colored tights, add a kind of edginess to the “lady style”…. The colors used are mostly earth tones with beige and brown highlighted by deep reds and purples. Prints are mostly eradicated, after the possible overdose this spring, but we can still see one or two flowery designs on mini skirts mostly, adding a small touch of fantasy...

I know that the last thing you want is to be in autumn already as summer hasn’t even started, however I recommend a sneak peek into H&M’s collection which once more carries the class and audaciousness of many luxury brands. Cheap is the new chic!
