Held at the Dorchester in London on the 24th of March, a particular auction part of the Winnicott Foundation Ball, an independent charity which raises money for premature and sick baby units at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s hospitals, took place.
As a matter of fact the auction featured a series of postcards designed by celebrities such as Jude Law (whose postcard sold at £1’000), Angelina Jolie (sold at £730), Paul smith (sold at £3’000), Tim Burton (sold at £38’00) and many other such as Meryl Streep, Judi Dench and Daniel Radcliffe. The final gain for the evening topped £200’000.
It is nice to see as, once more, some celebrities are willing to contribute to the world while using their notoriety to help others in need.
